Abstract:

This work conducts a literary review on how hypertension and type 2 diabetes affect teachers in Mexico, using data from the National Health and Nutrition Survey (ENSANUT). Following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, a systematic review of existing literature has been carried out. This methodology has allowed for the consolidation of a robust theoretical framework and the development of a flowchart that shows the selection and evaluation of relevant literature, thus ensuring the transparency and replicability of the review process.Additionally, a conceptual map has been created that structures this theoretical framework, highlighting the relevance of complex thinking in the interpretation of future studies on the subject. This approach is crucial for understanding the complex interactions between health, socioeconomic, and environmental factors that influence teachers. The review focuses on establishing a solid theoretical and methodological base that supports future research and detailed analysis of these chronic conditions in the educational sector.
