Eduardo Ahumada-Tello
Eduardo Ahumada-Tello

Eduardo Ahumada-Tello is a Professor in Information Technologies and Management Science at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC). He’s also has been appointed as a guest lecturer in Universities in France, Spain, Bolivia, United Kingdom and in México. 
He is a Member of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society. His research fields of interest are complex systems and innovation strategies, digital transformation, subjective well-being, organizational intelligence and knowledge management.

Richard D Evans
Richard D Evans

Richard Evans is Associate Professor in Digital Innovation in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University. Richard is a former Vice President of Technical Activities and Member of the Executive Board for the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society. He currently Co-Chairs the IEEE TEMS Design and Engineering Technical Activity Committee and sits on the Editorial Board for the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. In 2020, Richard helped co-found the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Good, sponsored by the IEEE and the International Telecommunications Union. To date, he has published over 90 scientific papers in recognised journals and conference proceedings and has built a successful network of partners spread around the world.

Mark Wehde
Mark Wehde

Mark Wehde is chair of the Mayo Clinic Division of Engineering, assistant professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and fellow in the Mayo Clinic Academy of Educational Excellence. Mark is also the James Renier Chair in Medical Device Innovation at the University of Minnesota Technology Leadership Institute.
Mark is on the board of governors for the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society and the IEEE Systems Council and is an affiliate of the University of Minnesota Medical Industry Leadership Institute. Mark is a Senior Fellow in the IEEE and a distinguished lecturer for the IEEE Systems Council.

Tariq Samad
Tariq Samad

Tariq Samad holds the Honeywell/W.R. Sweatt Chair and is the director of graduate studies at the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota. He also holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He joined TLI in May, 2016 after a 30-year career with Honeywell, for the last half of which he was Corporate Fellow with Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). During his career with Honeywell, he contributed to and led automation and control technology developments for applications in electric power systems, clean energy, building management, the process industries, automotive engines, unmanned aircraft and advanced manufacturing. From 2015 to 2016, he also served as the first Global Innovation Leader for Honeywell ACS.

Manuel Castañón Puga
Manuel Castañón Puga

Manuel Castañón-Puga is a full-time Professor at the Autonomous University of Baja California in México. His research of modeling and simulation, agent-based simulation, hybrid-intelligent agents, and multi-agent systems explores how software agents could describe multidimensional environments, innovation, evolution, and adaptation in complex adaptive systems. He collaborates with multidisciplinary researchers and scientists to create multidimensional computer simulations of societies, political ideologies, trading economies, and urban landscapes. His research also intends to incorporate the ideas of complexity into the mainstream of engineering, particularly its instruction at the undergraduate level.

Reyna Virginia Barragán-Quintero
Reyna Virginia Barragán-Quintero

Reyna Virginia Barragán-Quintero (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in management science from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, Tijuana, in 2017. She worked in the private industry for more than 20 years, and has held management positions in global companies, such as HSBC Bank and Scotia Bank Mexico. During her practice, she was certified on Ethics for Financial Markets, as an Investment Markets Promoter, and as a Stock Broker by the Mexican Association of Stock Market Intermediaries. She is currently the MBA coordinator with the School of Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, Universidad Autónoma de Baja California.

Karen Gardenia Ramos Higuera

Full-time research professor and coordinator of the marketing academic area, Faculty of Accounting and Administration, Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. Member of the academic body Organizational Intelligence and Digital Transformation. Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI I).  Author and reviewer of scientific articles in high impact journals (JCR and SCIMAGO). PHD. in Global Development Studies; UABC. Master’s degree in administration, UABC, bachelor’s degree in Tourism.

Juan Manuel Perusquía
Juan Manuel Perusquía

Dr. Perusquía is a Professor-Researcher holding a Doctorate in Administration with a focus on strategic planning from the Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior, a Master’s in International Commerce from the same institution, and a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and Customs from the Universidad Iberoamericana. With several of his research articles being published in internationally recognized journals. Juan Manuel Perusquia is a distinguished figure in academia, with a passion for research and education.

Esperanza Manrique-Rojas
Esperanza Manrique-Rojas

Dra. Manrique Rojas is a research professor and coordinator of Educational Planning and Quality at the Faculty of Accounting and Administration, Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. She is a member of the academic body for Business Intelligence and Organizational Innovation. Dr. Rojas is also part of the National System of Researchers (SNI I). Her research work in the social field focuses on older adults and their learning of technologies through educational gerontology. She holds a Doctorate in Education, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, a specialization in Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics..

Alfredo Tirado-Ramos
Alfredo Tirado-Ramos

Dr. Tirado-Ramos is a Scientific Director of Biomedical Informatics at the Dartmouth School of Medicine Department of Epidemiology. His research focuses on the use of complex system simulation and Machine Learning methods to develop computable phenotypes to investigate novel perspectives on the complexity of addiction-related adverse health events during pandemics, as well as technological support for the study of effects of environmental exposures on child health and development. He also works on Informatics infrastructure for translational research across Dartmouth and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock research enterprise.

Chris Biggadike

Chris Biggadike is the Senior Engineering Manager for the Safety Critical engineering team within Ultra Electronics PCS. Working in the field of aerospace and defense, he has over 15 years experience in the technical leadership of engineering projects, innovation and IP Management.
He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the IET and IEEE. He is a Doctoral Researcher with Brunel University where he is researching the application of Complexity Leadership Theory in an engineering organization.

Liam McCormick is the Founder and CEO of the SaaS company Ubiquity Health which aims to revolutionize the health insurance landscape by automating the data creation, collection and verification processes between insurance providers and their third party networks.
He has over 10 years of experience working in Physiotherapy in a variety of areas, including critical/urgent care, neuro-rehabilitation and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Jessica López-García

Jessica Lopez is a PHD Student at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. She is also a Lecturer at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, UDCI, and Humanitas; She teaches market research, consumer analysis, and qualitative methods. Her expertise extends to marketing roles, where she served as a Specialist in Marketing and head of marketing in diverse industries – handling SEO, content creation, and social media strategies.

Héctor Alejandro Acuña-Cid
Héctor Alejandro Acuña-Cid

Héctor Alejandro Acuña-Cid is a computer engineer and a PhD student in Engineering Management at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). He holds two master’s degrees: one in Educational Technology and another in Information Processing Sciences. His research focuses on the management of chronic disease data. He works as a lecturer at IPN Campus Zacatecas, teaching courses on computer networks, data science, and software engineering. He has contributed to various publications and conferences. In his free time, he enjoys doing CrossFit and going to the cinema.
