Abstract:

Efficient production planning and control are essential for ensuring timely deliveries and optimizing operations in the electronics manufacturing industry. This study focuses on EEC, a company specializing in producing frequency filters for telecommunications, which faces challenges due to traditional and empirical approaches to planning and control. By implementing project management methodologies such as Gantt charts and Critical Path Analysis, supported by Microsoft Project Manager, EEC aims to improve coordination between departments, reduce wastage, rework, and downtime, and enhance overall production efficiency. The results demonstrate significant improvements, with increased on-time deliveries and sales performance. Additionally, the flexibility and adaptability of these methodologies have facilitated better communication and monitoring of production activities, allowing for timely corrective actions when deviations occur. This study underscores the transformative impact of project management tools in manufacturing and their potential to drive efficiency and competitiveness in the industry.
